Brayden Kameg, PhD, DNP, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, CNE, FIAAN
Dr. Brayden Kameg currently serves as the Associate Dean for Graduate Clinical Education and is an Associate Professor of Nursing in the Department of Health and Community Systems. She currently teaches across undergraduate and graduate programs. Her primary teaching responsibilities include substance use management, child/adolescent psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and psychiatric management in primary care. Dr. Kameg’s academic interests include integrating substance use and mental health-related competencies across undergraduate and graduate programs. She has received extramural funding through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. This funding has supported her work to improve nurses' and nurse practitioners' ability to meet the mental and behavioral healthcare needs of the populations they serve.

Clinically, Dr. Kameg is a co-founder and co-owner of the private practice, Peace of Mind Psychiatry, where she treats patients across the lifespan. She is the founding program director of a PMHNP residency program at the Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System, where she sees patients in both inpatient and addiction psychiatry settings.
Lisa Anderson, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Lisa Anderson, , is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner and owner of Amphyst Behavioral Health, an outpatient mental health practice in San Antonio, Texas. She serves as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at the UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing, where she teaches across the PMHNP curriculum and mentors graduate nursing students. Dr. Anderson is currently a PhD student in Nursing Science at Texas Woman’s University, where her research examines interprofessional relationships between physicians and nurse practitioners, digital professionalism, and the influence of professional dynamics on policy and access to mental health care. Clinically, she focuses on the care of children, adolescents, and young adults, with particular expertise in ADHD and autism spectrum conditions. She integrates clinical practice, education, and scholarship to support compassionate, evidence-based care, strengthen the mental health workforce, and expand access to high-quality mental health services.
