Paul Logan, PhD, CRNP, ACNP-BC
Paul Logan is a cardiovascular nurse practitioner and health services researcher. In 1994 he graduated with the second class of acute care nurse practitioners at the University of Pennsylvania and has since practiced in cardiology in Greater Philadelphia and Central Pennsylvania. He completed his PhD at Penn State in 2019. Today he teaches in the Nese College of Nursing at Penn State, does some health services research, and practices at WellSpan Cardiology in Chambersburg, PA.

Paul is the author of the only textbook for acute care nurse practitioners, published in 1999. Good luck finding a copy—I know his mother has one.

He lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with his wife Jeanne, who is a nurse practitioner in the autism program at Hershey Medical Center. They have four children, one of whom took up the family business and works in the surgical ICU at WellSpan York Hospital.
