Jean Aertker, DNP, ARNP, FAANP
Jean Aertker is owner of Aertker & Associates, an Occupational Business Consulting in Tampa, Florida. She sold her Occ Health practice after 23 successful years in South Tampa. In “semi-retirement” mode she works PRN at Moffitt Cancer Center Team Health and a volunteer at Judeo Christian Health Clinic. At AANP, she is a charter founding member since 1985, past Florida State Rep and Region 11 Director and a Fellow in AANP. Jean is also a founding member, past President and first Executive Director of the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network the statewide organization since 2002. She is co-chair of the AANP Occ-Enviro Community.
Wendy Paracka, DNP, APRN, NP-C, FAANP
Wendy Paracka is the founder and owner of Remise Health Solutions in Tarpon Springs, Florida, that provides occupational health services as well as care for acute and chronic patient conditions. She obtained her Master of Science degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL in 1996 and is currently working to complete her DNP. She is board certified in adult health and has a post-master’s certification in family health. She is certified in workers compensation care and performs hundreds of CDL exams annually.
In 2007, she was selected to participate on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NR) test development team as part of an expert group of medical professionals. The team helped in drafting test items for the initial National Registry exams administered for certification of CDL medical examiners. For the last 6 years, she has lectured nationally on DOT topics and updates.
