Kristene Diggins is a doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Kristene has worked as an FNP in direct patient care for over 17 years in both Family Practice and Geriatrics. She was recently elected as on the Selections Committee for the Fellows of American Association of Nurse Practitioners. As adjunct NP faculty , Kristene was awarded the Certified Nurse Educator credential in 2014. She completed her Masters in Business Administration in healthcare 2015 and gained the Certified Nurse Administrator/Executive Advanced certification in 2015 as well. She developed a new model of healthcare delivery in the outpatient setting, which provides a partnership between pharmacists and providers for improved patient outcomes. She has published and presented on this work in various venues nationally , labeled the FNP/Pharm D Collaborative Model.
