This program is a one-hour interactive activity hosted by 2 expert faculty in the field of obesity management. Faculty outline the epidemiology and clinical presentation of obesity; identify barriers to weight loss; role model motivational interview techniques; review treatment options and formulate a practice plan for obesity management.

Outline prevalence, etiology, severity, co-morbidities, and sequelae of obesity

Compare and contrast the optimal obesity treatment options for patient-specific situations
Formulate an evidence-based practice plan for obesity management
