Jessica L. Peck, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CNE, CNL, FAANP, FAAN Bio
Dr. Peck is currently a Clinical Professor at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas who provides innovative, visionary, and award-winning nursing leadership. Dr. Peck is an internationally recognized anti-trafficking advocate. As President of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, she created the Alliance for Children in Trafficking and served as founding chair. Dr. Peck served as consultant to the US Congress and worked with the US Department of Health and Human Services and an interprofessional team to create core competencies for health professionals caring for individuals exploited and abused through trafficking. She was instrumental in passage of House Bill 2059, mandating continuing education for all care providers in Texas. She was Lead Medical Consultant for Unbound Houston. She serves as an accomplished policy expert and advocate. Dr. Peck is a frequently requested speaker and media guest. She hosts a daily live radio show and is a bestselling author for parents.

Ashley Hodges, PhD, PMHNP-BC, WHNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN Bio
Dr. Hodges has over 33 years’ experience as an academician, administrator, and clinician. She is dual certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is currently a nurse practitioner for the UAB Clinic at the WellHouse, a clinic for female victims of human sex trafficking, the program coordinator and nurse practitioner for the Children’s of Alabama Sunrise Program, a clinic for minors who are victims of sex trafficking, and a clinical administrator and nurse practitioner for River Region Psychiatry Associates. Dr. Hodges works to promote provider understanding of the complexity of the interplay of behavioral health and the unique health needs of victims and survivors of sex trafficking. Dr. Hodges was recently recognized for her work by receiving an Outstanding Victim Protection in Countering Human Trafficking award from the US Department of Homeland Security.
