Overview This activity is a live webinar that features two NP experts, Dr. Ruth Carrico and Dr. Wendy Wright, discussing the current landscape of COVID-19 outpatient treatment. The recording of the live webinar will be available as an on-demand activity after the recording for those who cannot attend the live event.
Objectives- Describe the importance of prompt COVID-19 testing in both symptomatic people and asymptomatic people with recent contact with potential or confirmed COVID-19.
- Review recommendations for the diagnosis and general management of non-hospitalized patients with mild or moderate COVID-19.
- Prioritize outpatient COVID-19 treatments based on individualized risk assessment for individuals with COVID-19.
- Review eligibility requirements for receipt of outpatient COVID-19 therapy.
- Compare outpatient pharmacotherapeutic options for COVID-19, including approved and authorized agents as well as those that are on the horizon.
