Overview This is a multi-module CE activity series that provides a guide to Nurse Practitioners on diagnosing and managing MS. Medical Minute 1 teaches the NP how to utilize newly updated guidelines to diagnose Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Medical Minute 2 provides the NP practical decision-making tools to guide early treatment decisions for their patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Medical Minute 3 teaches the NP to recognize disease progression, worsening or relapse, and recommend appropriate treatment. CE Credit Instructions

Medical Minute 1:
Summarize changes to the revised 2017 McDonald criteria for MS diagnosis
Review the signs, symptoms, clinical presentation, and imaging tests that are indicative of an MS diagnosis
Medical Minute 2:
Utilize currently available agents to initiate and modify MS therapy in accordance with the most recent guidelines and evidence
Medical Minute 3:
Recognize prognostic indicators of highly active MS (MS at risk for worsening, progression and relapse of disease)
Discuss shared decision making and multidisciplinary care to optimize clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and adherence to therapy
