Women are 30 times more likely than men to develop a UTI and, it is estimated 20%-40% of women who have had one UTI will experience another one. This case-based continuing education module is geared toward the NP student or career starter but can also be a beneficial refresher for the seasoned NP in practice. This activity features Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald, a Family Nurse Practitioner with vast expertise in NP certification preparation and continuing education.
