Overview: This activity explores how artificial intelligence can empower nurses to enhance clinical practice, reduce cognitive burden, and improve patient-centered care. Participants will examine the role of AI in nursing workflows, including ambient AI tools that support clinical documentation, decision-making, and task automation. The course addresses key considerations such as accuracy, reliability, predictive analytics, and ethical integration of AI in healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on the critical role nurses play in guiding the effective and ethical adoption of AI to improve safety, efficiency, and outcomes.
