Overview This presentation will describe the classifications of cardiorenal syndrome and discuss pharmacologic and management strategies to slow its progression. Objectives
Define cardiorenal syndrome and its classifications.
Describe the diagnostic criteria for cardiorenal syndrome.
Review treatment strategies for cardiorenal syndrome and its complications in the acutely ill patient population.
Identify the role of interprofessional specialties in preventing the progression of cardiorenal syndrome.
