Overview In the U.S., cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of mortality and accounts for approximately 1 in every 5 deaths annually. Hypercholesterolemia/dyslipidemia is a leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Dyslipidemias are managed with a combination of lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions. Join expert faculty Drs. Allison Dimsdale and Colleen Walsh-Irwin for the first of a three-webinar series to learn about primary and secondary lipid disorders, diagnosis of dyslipidemias and risk assessment.
